Why does the same tarot card keep appearing?

A repeated card can become a useful theme to reflect on, but repetition can also happen by chance, especially when you draw frequently. Notice whether the same question or interpretation is returning with it. You do not need to treat a repeated symbol as an instruction or a warning you must obey.

Try a three-card reading

Put the symbols in context.

Record the card, the question, the spread position and what was happening that day. A recurring Hermit in different positions may open different reflections about solitude, study or distance. If you keep asking the same question, the repetition may say more about what holds your attention than about a hidden message becoming more urgent.
